FBI Offers $1 Million Bounty on ‘Most Wanted’ Fugitive Accused of Murders, Leading Crime Group

News RoomBy News RoomSeptember 29, 20261 ViewsNo Comments

The FBI is offering a $1 million reward for information that secures the arrest of the alleged leader of a transnational organized crime group’s operations in Canada and the United States.

Satinderjeet Singh, who’s wanted for alleged targeted murders, extortion and drug distribution, is the latest person added to the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list, the agency said in a Monday, September 28 news release in which officials announced the $1 million bounty.

“Singh is considered to be extremely violent, armed, and dangerous,” the FBI warned. “He is known to reside in California and various parts of Canada.”

Singh, 33, who uses the alias Goldy Brar, is allegedly a high-ranking member of the Lawrence Bishnoi Organized Crime Group, an organization the FBI said has been involved in violent crimes in southern California, throughout the U.S. and in Canada. The Canadian government has considered the organization as a terrorist group as of September 2025.

The alleged crimes tied to the group include assassinations, shootings, kidnappings, drug and weapons trafficking and more.

“Satinderjeet Singh, also known as Goldy Brar, is a dangerous individual, and the FBI and our partners have made it our priority to apprehend him,” FBI Los Angeles Field Office Assistant Director in Charge Patrick Grandy said in a statement.

Singh is considered a loyal lieutenant of the Bishnoi group’s alleged leader, Lawrence Bishnoi, who’s in prison in India.

Both men are accused of orchestrating the June 2023 assassination of a political and religious figure from India. The killing occurred in Canada, when the man, referred to in court filings as “H.S.N.,” was fatally shot by two people outside a Sikh temple in British Columbia, Canada, according to the FBI.

Afterward, from March 2024 to July 2025, the Bishnoi group was accused of stealing 520 kilograms of cocaine from rival gangs based in the Los Angeles area.

“This criminal gang engaged in violent activity in each country in which it operated, including the U.S., and used violence to cultivate a climate of fear, particularly in India and among Indian diaspora communities worldwide,” the FBI said in its news release.

Singh was one of 37 defendants who have been indicted on multiple charges in connection with the Bishnoi group and two other transnational organized criminal organizations based out of India.

Since July, the FBI said that out of those defendants, they are still working to apprehend Singh and four others.

In Los Angeles federal court, Singh is charged with racketeer influenced and corrupt organizations conspiracy, conspiracy to interfere and attempted interference with commerce by extortion and conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute controlled substances, according to the FBI.

“The inclusion of this defendant on the FBI’s Top Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list underscores this administration’s determination to bring the full force of the law upon transnational criminal gangs,” First Assistant U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli said in a statement.

The FBI is warning the public to avoid interacting with Singh.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324), or call the nearest FBI office, U.S. embassy or consulate.
