A woman dialed 911 on Sunday and alleged Geno Smith “beat me up,” according to police audio obtained by The California Post on Tuesday.
The call was placed in the afternoon, and in the audio, the woman IDs herself as Smith’s ex-girlfriend who claimed she was just attacked by the Jets quarterback at a house in Davie, Fla.
“My ex-boyfriend just beat me up,” she said through tears.
“This happened maybe about an hour ago.”
The woman said the incident was captured on video cameras at the home, though she stated “he probably deleted all the footage.” She also added that she did not need medical attention.
A spokesperson for the Davie Police Department told The Post on Monday that cops ultimately showed up to Smith’s residence at around 4:40 p.m. to investigate a claim of battery.
No one was taken into custody on the scene, according to the rep. An investigation remains ongoing.
Cops did not immediately provide any further details surrounding the incident.
A woman named Kristen first levied public allegations of misconduct against Smith on her @everythingkrisxo Instagram page on Sunday afternoon.
In an 85-second video she shared, Kristen accused Smith of beating her up, breaking her computer and stealing her money while she filmed the 35-year-old outside of his home.
“GENO SMITH beat my ass cause he HATES taking care of his special needs kid and can’t be left alone with him because he’d rather watch s*x online and play Call of Duty,” she wrote in a caption on the footage.
Smith has not publicly responded to the allegations. The Jets, meanwhile, did not have a comment when reached on Monday.
As Kristen’s video began going viral, the mother of Smith’s young son Seven did defend the two-time Pro Bowler, praising his parenting ability in a post on her own Instagram page.
“Geno is and always has been more than capable of taking care of his son,” she said. “Let’s kill that narrative. Don’t get on the internet bringing my son into your web of dysfunction.”
Smith re-joined the Jets in March via a trade with the Raiders. He previously played for New York from 2013 to 2016 after being drafted in the second round.
