Are the Giants and John Harbaugh — the most special teams-aware head coach in the entire NFL — really going to entrust their placekicking to a fresh-faced rookie?
This rather pointed question was presented to that fresh-faced rookie, Dominic Zvada, and at first he responded by repeating it, almost word-for word.
“Why should they trust a rookie?” he said, sounding far more bemused by the query than annoyed by it.
“That’s tough, man,” Zvada told The Post. “I mean, I want to say I would go out there and do everything I can and give everything I can for this team. It’s an honor to play for this team, such a historic franchise.
