Ex-Google CEO, 70, spent New Year’s with 27-year-old model — pair have traveled across the globe: report

News RoomBy News RoomFebruary 11, 20260 ViewsNo Comments

Ex-Google CEO Eric Schmidt rang in the New Year with 27-year-old German model Gloria-Sophie Burkandt as they’ve globe-trotted from the US to India and Europe, according to a report.

Burkandt and Schmidt — who’s 43 years her senior — have been on the move together almost daily for weeks, according to German daily Bild.

The tabloid reported that the two are attending the Munich Security Conference, the annual gathering of top global security officials, this coming weekend.

Spokespersons for Schmidt and Burkandt did not immediately respond to The Post’s requests for comment.

Burkandt is often at Schmidt’s side and was spotted with the multimillionaire at last month’s World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Bild reported.

A source close to Schmidt previously told The Post that Burkandt was part of his entourage at Davos but disputed Bild’s suggestion that the two are romantically involved, describing their relationship as a “friendship.”

The tab did not state where they spent New Year’s together.

Burkandt, the daughter of Bavaria’s State Premier Markus Söder, is a public figure in her native Germany, where she has appeared on programs including the reality-style quiz show “Germany’s Dumbest Celebrity.”

She has also written for Teen Vogue and appeared in Vogue Turkey.

In a December 2022 Teen Vogue essay, Burkandt wrote that she was sexually harassed by a supervisor while working as an intern at age 18.

Burkandt splits her time between Germany and New York, where she is pursuing a PhD focused on sustainability, according to published reports.

Property records obtained by The Post show that Burkandt is listed as a resident of a penthouse unit in a luxury residential tower in Midtown South.

Schmidt, whose net worth was placed at $53.9 billion on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index as of Tuesday, is coming off a tumultuous split from 31-year-old entrepreneur Michelle Ritter.

In October, The Post first reported that Ritter accused Schmidt of stalking, abuse and “toxic masculinity” in court filings.

Ritter also sought a domestic violence restraining order against Schmidt before withdrawing it weeks later after the two sides reached a written settlement agreement.

The original filing included allegations that Schmidt locked Ritter out of the website of her AI venture firm, which had received a $100 million investment from him, according to a source close to the situation.

In a subsequent filing, Ritter alleged that Schmidt failed to comply with the terms of that settlement.
