Everything to Know About 2026 Grammy Awards: Performers, Nominations, Host, Air Date and More

News RoomBy News RoomJanuary 30, 20262 ViewsNo Comments

Music’s biggest night is nearly here.

“The Grammy Awards are our opportunity to honor the people who make this community so vibrant and this year’s nominees remind us of the incredible talent that is driving music forward,” Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. said in a November 2025 press release. “From emerging talent to influential icons, these nominees reflect today’s broad and diverse musical landscape, and I am excited to celebrate them in the coming weeks ahead and on Music’s Biggest Night.”

Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga, Bad Bunny, Sabrina Carpenter and Leon Thomas are among the stars who could take home trophies after releasing albums between August 2024 and August 2025.

Keep scrolling to learn more about the 2026 Grammy Awards:

Who Will Host the 2026 Grammy Awards?

Trevor Noah will host the upcoming Grammy Awards for the sixth year in a row, CBS confirmed on January 13.

According to executive producer Ben Winston, this will be the comedian’s last time hosting the telecast.

“I am beyond thrilled to welcome Trevor Noah back to host the Grammys for his sixth, and sadly, final time,” Winston said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. “He’s been the most phenomenal host of the show. He’s so smart, so funny and such a true fan of the artists and music. His impact on the show has been truly spectacular, and we can’t wait to do it together one last time.”

Grammy Nominations Revealed

Kendrick Lamar leads the nomination tally with nine, while Jack Antonoff and Lady Gaga each earned seven. Bad Bunny, Leon Thomas and Sabrina Carpenter all walked away with six nods apiece.

The coveted Album of the Year nominees are Debí Tirar Más Fotos (Bad Bunny), Swag (Justin Bieber), Man’s Best Friend (Sabrina Carpenter), Let God Sort Em Out (Clipse), Mayhem (Lady Gaga), GNX (Kendrick Lamar), Mutt (Leon Thomas) and Chromokopia (Tyler, the Creator).

This year was also a breakout year for Best New Artist honorees Olivia Dean, Katseye, The Marías, Addison Rae, Sombr, Leon Thomas, Alex Warren and Lola Young.

“I was shocked,” Rae told The Los Angeles Times in December 2025 of receiving a first-time nod. “The night before the nominations were announced, my managers were like, ‘Should we get together and watch it?’ That puts so much pressure on it. I always wondered with these people that post videos of themselves reacting to nominations, ‘What if it didn’t happen? Do they have confetti and just don’t blow it?’”

Rae opted to watch the announcement from her manager’s office, which she described as “very chill.”

“I’d looked at all the lists of predictions, and the only place that predicted I would get nominated was Pitchfork,” she said. “So the odds were not looking great for me. Then they said my name, I was, like, [gasping]. That was all I could say.”

Rae notably rose to fame as a member of the TikTok “Hype House” in 2020 alongside Warren.

Who Is Performing at the 2026 Grammys?

On January 28, Justin Bieber was announced as a performer at the 2026 Grammys, marking his first major public performance since his 2022 tour abruptly ended so that the “Baby” singer could prioritize his health.

Addison Rae, Alex Warren, Clipse, Katseye, Leon Thomas, Lola Young, Olivia Dean, Pharrell Williams, Sabrina Carpenter, Sombr and The Marias are also set to perform.

Days before the awards show, the Recording Academy announced that Lady Gaga, who is nominated for seven Grammys this year, will perform during the ceremony. Reba McEntire, meanwhile, will lead the In Memoriam tribute, while Ms. Lauryn Hill will perform in honor of D’Angelo and Roberta Flack. Post Malone is also set for a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne with Duff McKagan, Slash, Andrew Watt and Chad Smith. Tyler, the Creator and Rosé, both nominees this year, are also set to hit the stage.

On January 30, the Recording Academy confirmed that Bruno Mars had joined the performer lineup.

Who Is Presenting at the 2026 Grammys?

Harry Styles and Doechii have been confirmed as the first major presenters for the awards show.

When Are the 2026 Grammys?

The Grammys take place Sunday, February 1, at 8 p.m. ET live from Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena.

How to Watch the 2026 Grammys

The awards ceremony will air live on CBS and stream concurrently on Paramount+.
