DWTS’ Daniella Karagach Claps Back at Pregnancy Speculation: ‘Normalize Not Commenting’

News RoomBy News RoomJuly 24, 20260 ViewsNo Comments

Dancing With the Stars pro Daniella Karagach slammed the viral speculation that she is pregnant with her second baby.

“It’s 2026 and we’re still assuming people are pregnant after they’ve just had a full burger and dessert? Really?” Karagach, 33, wrote via her Instagram Stories on Thursday, July 23. “Let’s normalize not commenting if a woman is pregnant just because you’re used to seeing her a certain way.”

The professional dancer, who shares 3-year-old daughter Nikita with husband Pasha Pashkov, raised eyebrows on Wednesday, July 22, after sharing a bikini pic via Instagram.

“Mom & Dad,” Karagach captioned her upload, in which she stood in front of Pashkov, 40, on a beach, leading fans to question whether the couple were subtly announcing a pregnancy.

Karagach, meanwhile, asserted in her post on Thursday that she and her husband were merely enjoying their time off from DWTS and its live tour.

“I’m on break enjoying every minute of it,” Karagach explained, before issuing a message regarding those struggling with fertility issues. “There are people currently going through things. I think y’all need to be a bit more sensitive.”

She continued, “If I do get pregnant in the near future, let me be the one to tell you. Peace out. I’m gonna go enjoy some food.”

Karagach gave birth to Nikita in May 2023 after previously experiencing a pregnancy loss.

“I just remember one day I was pregnant, and then the next day I wasn’t,” Karagach recalled of her miscarriage on an October 2024 episode of Good Morning America. “I just remember, like, falling to the floor [and was] like, ‘I can’t believe this happened to me.’”

According to Karagach, the “gut-wrenching” miscarriage occurred just five weeks after she found out she was pregnant in early 2022.

“If it was one day or a week, or five months, or three months, or one month, or whatever the timeline was, like, it was still a loss for me, and it was a huge loss,” she said at the time. “It was a baby, you know. So it was something we’ve wanted and pictured ourselves [with].”

While grieving the loss — which she said took her to the “lowest of lows” — Karagach leaned on Pashkov for support.

“Pasha really got me out of that state, and he was obviously grieving with me, and it wasn’t easy to talk about at the moment, but he got me out of a really bad place,” Karagach added at the time. “We just truly believe that we need to trust and if it’s going to happen, it’s going to happen at the right time.”

Karagach learned that she was expecting her rainbow baby in the middle of DWTS season 31, which aired in fall 2022.
