DoorDash down as thousands of users report Tuesday morning freeze

News RoomBy News RoomJune 16, 20261 ViewsNo Comments

Thousands of hungry folks are out of luck.

Over 36,000 DoorDash users have reported platform issues on Tuesday morning according to a Downdetector post.

Downdetector offers real-time monitoring and status tracking for thousands of online services.

Outage reports began at 9:30 a.m. ET with 73% of the issues happening on the mobile app.

About 23% of users couldn’t even order as they were experiencing login failures.

The post revealed that a large swath of the issues were in New York, Chicago, Detroit, Dallas and Los Angeles.

DoorDash took to X, assuring customers that they were trying to get them their goodies.

“We’re aware of an issue affecting our platform and are working urgently to resolve it. We thank our users for their patience and understanding, and apologize for any inconvenience,” the post read.

Despite offering help, DoorDash users flooded the comment section as some let the hangry-ness get the best of them.

“Now, it’s reflecting that my order was delivered at 11:07 & it was not. I’ve got cameras installed at the door & nothing. I’ve reordered food through Uber Eats & will be looking for a full refund to my card. Additionally, my plan is to cancel my monthly sub – too many probs!”

Another waited hours, missing their meal along the way.

“Literally been waiting for 2 hours and now McDonalds breakfast is closed. Door dash support was not helpful at all,” the hungry user wrote.

The company has already started the refund process, according to X users.

“Thank you for refunding my order. I live in a desert community. Had it been delivered while I am not home, it would have attracted insects and wildlife,” a poster said.

The company will post any updates on DoorDash Help X account. To request help on the app, click the order in your app, tap Help, and select your specific delivery issue. DoorDash should process the refund or route you to a 24/7 support agent.

For those on the website head to DoorDash, and click the three lines (menu) in the top left corner. Click Orders and choose the specific order. Select Help and choose the issue from the right-hand menu.

Just follow the prompts to resolve the issue or you can also start a chat.

If frustration gets the best of you and all of that is too much, call the 24/7 support line at 855-431-0459.
