Cardinals’ Elijah Wilkinson gets into profane feud with Falcons fans after Atlanta exit

News RoomBy News RoomMarch 17, 20262 ViewsNo Comments

Former Falcons offensive tackle Elijah Wilkinson publicly blasted the team after signing a free agent deal with the Arizona Cardinals last week.

Wilkinson — who spent three of the past four seasons in Atlanta, with a stop in Arizona in 2023 — didn’t mince words while arguing with Falcons fans in since-deleted comments on social media.

“Good luck with that clown show over there,” Wilkinson responded to someone that wrote, “Thank god you’re gone,” according to screen-grabs online.

“Lol, y’all in hell [right now]” Wilkinson said in another comment. “Have fun being ass next year.”

Wilkinson apparently took aim at some of his former Falcons teammates in a back-and-forth in his DMs, as seen in other screen-grabs.

“Hahaha yeah alright, and all the passes [Darnell] Mooney dropped and [Kyle] Pitts f–k off my line,” Wilkinson wrote. “Have fun rooting to lose the NFC South. 28-3. 28-3… Haahahahahhahha laughing stock.”

Wilkinson also thanked another fan for “supporting me when half these people commenting wouldn’t” — adding that he “Bailed the Falcons out when they had nowhere to turn.

“Good luck moving forward.”

Wilkinson is reportedly returning to Arizona on a two-year deal.

Last season, Wilkinson had 17 starts at right tackle after Kaleb McGary sustained a knee injury in the preseason. He appeared in just two games for the Falcons, primarily on special teams in the 2024 season.

Wilkinson spent four seasons with the Broncos after he went undrafted out of UMass in 2017.
