Caitlyn Jenner Claims She ‘Can’t Travel Internationally’ After Donald Trump’s Trans Passport Policy

News RoomBy News RoomApril 17, 20260 ViewsNo Comments

Caitlyn Jenner says that she is unable to travel internationally following President Donald Trump’s passport policy.

“This is a safety factor. I can’t travel internationally anymore. I can’t use my passport,” Jenner, 76, claimed on a recent episode of the “Tomi Lahren is Fearless” podcast. “I can use Global Entry [because] it says ‘F.’ I can travel in the United States.”

Jenner, who publicly came out as transgender in 2015, revealed that her driver’s and pilot’s licenses both have an “F” marker. Trump’s administration, meanwhile, signed an executive order in January 2025 that only allowed passports to match an individual’s “biological sex at birth.”

“We no longer issue U.S. passports or Consular Reports of Birth Abroad (CRBAs) with an X marker,” the State Department website reads. “We only issue a passport with an M or F sex marker that matches the customer’s biological sex at birth.”

The website statement continued, “If you submit a passport application requesting an X marker or requesting a sex marker that differs from the sex marker at your birth, you may experience delays getting your passport. … We will issue you a new passport that matches your biological sex at birth, based on your supporting documents and our records about your previous passports.”

According to Jenner, the executive order has since created a “big problem” whenever she travels.

“I’m trying to figure out at this point what to do. I don’t blame President Trump, I love him,” the Olympian said. “For a lot of people, this is a huge issue. That’s kind of where I’m at right now. I have not talked to the president.”

Jenner further claimed that she wrote Trump, 49, a letter when she visited his Mar-A-Lago resort in Florida earlier this year.

“[I explained] all of this to him, how it’s affecting me and a lot of other people,” she said. “Unfortunately, he wasn’t there that weekend. The Secret Service guy said he could get it to him, put it on his desk and stuff. I haven’t heard from him. He’s kind of busy right now. My gender marker is not big on the issue”

While Jenner reiterated that she didn’t personally blame Trump for her passport problems, the former reality TV star is merely trying to figure out her next steps.

“I’m trying to figure out now, what is the next step to try to figure this out because even to vote now you have to have proper identification, and I don’t have that,” Jenner said. “I don’t know what’s going to happen because I don’t think this was really thought out what this means.”
