When it comes to choosing a chic fall bag, most of Us gravitate toward black or brown, even though we know they’re a bit boring. Thankfully, Katie Holmes made a convincing case for swapping our go-to for a classy, expensive-looking shade, and we’re copying her luxe purse style for only $18!
Spotted on a Paris dinner date with her boo, Jason Bard Yarmosky, Holmes rocked a crisp black top, flowy white skirt and tailored blazer, pulling the outfit together with a bright orange tote. Swapping predictable neutrals for a punchy fall tone turns a nice outfit into a Pinterest-worthy one, and clearly Holmes is a pro at pulling off this fashion trick.

This Dreubea Soft Faux Leather Tote nails the actress’ look, featuring a classic tote silhouette and a polished orange hue, plus a single-button closure and a designer-looking tassel embellishment. One five-star shopper wrote, “I get a lot of compliments on this bag, and people often mistake it for one of those designer handbags.”
Better yet, the dreamy budget tote has a roomy interior, so you can take it from airports to farmers’ markets to school pick-ups without changing bags. It’s especially practical for the office.
“The size is Goldilocks-perfect; not too big and not too small,” another happy reviewer wrote. “I can fit manilla folders in it to bring home [from] work without carrying a second bag.”
Orange is the ‘It’ girl fall alternative to basic black, and at $18, you can test-drive Holmes’ aesthetic without any guilt. Toss this tote bag over a camel coat, or pair it with jeans and loafers. Regardless, you’ll look Katie Holmes-rich.
