Brooklyn Beckham’s Career Changes Through the Years: Photographer, Chef and More

News RoomBy News RoomJanuary 20, 20265 ViewsNo Comments

David and Victoria Beckham’s eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, is a jack of all trades.

Brooklyn and his three siblings — brothers Romeo and Cruz and sister Harper — grew up in the spotlight thanks to their famous parents, former soccer pro David and former Spice Girls member-turned-fashion designer Victoria.

The couple’s firstborn has made headlines lately for his and wife Nicola Peltz’s ongoing feud with David and Victoria, which came to a head in January 2026 when Brooklyn declared via social media that he does “not want to reconcile” with his family. (Us Weekly reached out to reps for Victoria and David for comment.)

Amid the drama (and even years before it), Brooklyn has made a name for himself with several different career paths.

Keep scrolling to see all of Brooklyn’s jobs through the years:

Barista

Like many teens, Brooklyn’s first job was as a barista in West London when he was 15 years old. David told Huffington Post in 2013 that he and Victoria wanted their kids to learn the value of money from a young age.

“We try to lead by example, by showing them it’s important to work hard,” the athlete said. “We juggle everything around the family because our main priority is the children, simple as that, and it always will be, but being hard-working is the best thing you can show children.”

Footballer

Brooklyn almost followed in his dad’s path as a soccer player, starting with a position on Arsenal Football Club’s youth team. However, he stopped playing when he was 16 after he didn’t receive a scholarship to continue.

“One of my boys turned around to me the other day and said, ‘Daddy, I’m not sure I want to play football all the time,’” David admitted to ABC in 2015. “He said, ‘Every time I step onto the field, I know people are saying, ‘This is David Beckham’s son’, and if I am not as good as you, then it is not good enough.’”

Model

Brooklyn began modeling professionally in 2014. His career included covers for Vogue China, Miss Vogue, Interview, L’Uomo Vogue, The New York Times Style Magazine and Dazed Korea. Additionally, Brooklyn was a brand ambassador for Huawei’s Honor 8 smartphones and Superdry.

Photographer

Though he had no formal training at the time, Brooklyn photographed a campaign for Burberry BRIT when he was just 16 years old, featuring models Ben Rees, Carvell Conduah, Eliza Thomas, Liv Mason Pearson and Maddie Demaine. In 2017, Brooklyn released a photography book called Brooklyn Beckham: What I See.

That same year, Brooklyn began a four-year photography course at Parsons School of Design in New York, but he left after one year.

Chef

Brooklyn was one of many people around the globe who picked up a new hobby during the COVID-19 lockdowns. His hobby of choice? Cooking. He launched an online series called Cookin’ With Brooklyn and, in 2022, showcased his skills on Today.

“Unfortunately I’ve never done, like, a cooking class, but I’m obsessed with watching MasterClass,” he told The Times.

Brooklyn launched a sake brand, WESAKE, as well as his own hot sauce brand, Cloud23. He also created a pop-up restaurant with Uber Eats focusing on chicken tikka masala, pork dumplings and his other favorite meals.

Racecar Driver

In 2025, Brooklyn shifted to racing, appearing alongside footballer Sergio Agüero, Harry Potter actor Tom Felton and car aficionado Supercar Blondie in a documentary for Formula E called Formula E Creators’ Challenge.

Charity Dog Shelter Cofounder

In May 2025, Brooklyn and Peltz filed paperwork in California to register a charity dog shelter under both their names, according to The Sun. The Peltz Beckham Foundation aims to “rescue and shelter homeless dogs in Los Angeles,” the outlet reported.

In his January 2026 statement slamming his parents, Brooklyn claimed that Peltz asked Victoria to “support” their dog rescue venture, but she allegedly refused.

“Brand Beckham comes first. Family ‘love’ is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo opp, even if it’s at the expense of our professional obligations,” he wrote. “We’ve gone out of our way for years to show up and support at every fashion show, every party, and every press activity to show ‘our perfect family!’ But the one time my wife asked for my mum’s support to save displaced dogs during the LA fires, my mum refused.”
