Don’t cross Bill Simmons.
The famous sports personality has banned ESPN star Peter Schrager from his podcast for allegedly not accepting an invitation but instead being featured on Tuesday’s “Pardon My Take.”
Simmons said Schrager is on his “s–t list.”
“I parlayed the Niners +3.5 (against the Rams on Thursday in Australia) with Schrager not coming on the podcast this week but going on a different one,” Simmons said on the latest episode of his self-named podcast that published Friday. “My friend. He shouldn’t text us for awhile, I’ll just say that.
“He’s in the s–t house. He’s on the s–t list, he’s on my s–t list now. He’s got to really make it up.”
When one his co-host, Joe House, joked about how Schrager could make it up, Simmons used a stern tone.
“Upsetting. He had a new thing to promote, I’m not even going to promote it now,” he said. “Whatever. Schrager’s up to stuff, good luck to him.”
That tone certainly gave the vibe that this is not a “work” — to use professional wrestling lingo — and there seems to be some beef.
Simmons competes for listeners with Barstool Sports’ popular “Pardon My Take,” and Schrager, due to his NFL connections, is a good get for Week 1.
Choosing to go on one podcast compared to another can be viewed as a slight against the host or show.
Schrager’s “Big Day with Peter Schrager” debuted Thursday and it’s likely that was the “new thing to promote.”
Simmons announced the ban at a different point and Schrager had not commented on Simmons claims on social media, as of Friday morning.

“The Rams, who we found out today from Peter Schrager, who’s banned from this podcast,” Simmons said, “I don’t know he went on ‘Pardon My Take,’ didn’t come on here…”
Schrager had been a regular on Simmons’ podcast, even last year after he joined ESPN from NFL Network.
Like any good wrestling beef, this frenemy situation — think Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan — could switch gears soon and see these two reunite to discuss the NFL.
Simmons, though, may not be in the best moods to talk football after his beloved Patriots choked a 10-point second-half lead against Seattle backup quarterback Drew Lock on Wednesday night.
