Annie Agar is adamant she’s all right.
The social media personality — who’s amassed hundreds of thousands of followers for her humorous NFL-themed skits — released a two-minute video on Monday night insisting she’s OK after a photo she posted on Sunday afternoon sparked concern.
“I wasn’t even going to address this because I don’t know if it’s worth the time,” Agar said. “But the comments have gotten a little out of control. I am fine.”
The picture showed Agar in short jean shorts and a cropped camo tank top beside a body of water while holding a small fish.
Agar had a big smile on her face, and when she shared the image with her followers on X, she cracked a joke about Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy in the caption.
“Still better catch rate than jerry jeudy,” she wrote.
Agar followers, however, raced to the comment section to leave messages about her appearance and weight loss. Some had wondered if she had begun using Ozempic — an allegation she strongly denied in her Monday night video message.
“There’s been a lot of comments about Ozempic,” she said. “First of all, I am not on Ozempic. Kids, don’t take Ozempic. The funny thing is, I’m the biggest hypochondriac so this is kind of an inside joke with my family. I don’t even take Tylenol, guys. Because the side effects freak me out.
“So, the side effects of Ozempic would put me in therapy.”
Agar insisted she’s been sculpting her frame by simply eating healthier and exercising more.
“Losing weight, it’s all math,” she said. “I cut out refined sugar and alcohol. I do drink once a week. Sometimes if there’s a country concert, a little bit more. It depends on the week.
“But I cut out all refined sugar, I don’t eat any sugar. I don’t drink and I just eat whole foods. And I incline walk. It’s changed my life.”
The 30-year-old then said she’d be open to adjusting her content creation strategies moving forward if similar responses occur.
“If it’s gotten to the point where it’s a distraction or it’s not the kind of content you guys want, just let me know and I’ll adjust,” she said.
“I do love sharing it with you guys. But I just want it to be what you guys want it to be too. I love you guys so much. I just want you to enjoy the content as well. So, anyway. Thank you guys.”
