Amalia Williamson Is Unsure About ‘Sullivan’s Crossing’ Return After ‘You’re Killing Me’ Success (Exclusive)

Sullivan’s Crossing could be losing another cast member if the show returns for season 5.

Amalia Williamson, who is currently starring alongside Brooke Shields on Acorn TV’s You’re Killing Me, spoke exclusively to Us Weekly about her future on Sullivan’s Crossing, saying, “I don’t know.”

Williamson, 26, noted that she has to work around her filming schedule for You’re Killing Me, which was recently renewed.

“It depends on when we film our second season,” she shared. “I don’t know. I would love to go back. I love my Sullivan’s Crossing family. I miss them.”

Season 4 of Sullivan’s Crossing is currently airing on The CW where viewers saw Lola (Williamson) confiding in Maggie (Morgan Kohan) and Sydney (Lindura Sappong) about potentially leaving the area.

Lola was subsequently absent from most of the season. Us previously also broke the news that Scott Patterson would not be reprising his role as Sully before the actor’s absence from every episode.

“It’s always going to be different dynamics,” Kohan, 32, told Us about the onscreen changes. “One of the things that came out of not having Sully on the show was we did get all these wonderful new characters. I think it was really nice to build new dynamics.”

Looking ahead, Kohan showed support for Williamson — regardless if she was to return.

“I was actually just with Amalia an hour ago — and her new baby — and they’re so freaking sweet,” she gushed. “I obviously hope that she’s back and around, but she’s also off being a star on her own show so that’s fantastic.”

Acorn TV’s You’re Killing Me is set in a quaint New England town where bestselling novelist Allie “forms an unlikely alliance with aspiring writer and podcaster Andi to find the killer of a close friend,” according to the synopsis.

In addition to Williamson and Shields, the show also stars Tom Cavanagh, Robert Bazzocchi, Jefferson Brown, Laura Kohoot, Gabriel Burrafato, Kate Drummond and Jason Diaz.

“Andi is the forensics of it all. I love that she was a famous podcaster for, like, a hot minute and then she has to start over,” Williamson told Us about her new role. “They are both starting fresh and I love true crime personally, too. I love murder mysteries, so I dove right in.”

Williamson called the project a “dream role,” adding, “Allie is the people person where she gets the interviews and she finds out what people tick and she’s the motive queen. Then Andi is the forensics and Jack — who is played by Tom Cavanagh — so they need each other.”

New episodes of You’re Killing Me premiere every Monday on Acorn TV.
