Abdul Carter, Jaxson Dart ‘spoke as men’ after Trump rally sparks Giants drama

News RoomBy News RoomMay 23, 20260 ViewsNo Comments

Abdul Carter wants to put the discourse surrounding him and Giants teammate Jaxson Dart to rest.

Carter, who called out Dart Saturday morning for introducing President Donald Trump at a rally in Upstate New York on Friday, said that there is no animosity between him and the QB.

“Me & JD6 are good!” Carter, 22, posted to X on Saturday. “We spoke earlier as Men. Yall can keep yall narratives.”

The linebacker’s comments come just hours after he seemingly ripped Dart for attending the rally, claiming he thought it was AI-generated.

“Thought this s–t was AI, what we doing man,” Carter posted on X Saturday morning.

Dart, 23, walked on the stage at Rockland Community College in Suffern to introduce Trump. The second-year QB opened his speech by attempting to spark a “Go Big Blue” chant in the crowd.

“What an honor, what a privilege it is to be here,” said Dart before introducing the President.

Trump then embraced Dart as he walked on stage, saying that the signal-caller has a great playing future ahead.

“I want to thank Jaxson Dart, this is going to be a future Hall of Famer in my book,” Trump predicted.

“Thank you, thank you Jaxson. Lot of talent.”

In response to speculation from Boston Globe reporter Ben Volin that Dart attending the conservative rally would spark tension in the Giants’ locker room, right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor insisted that their “locker room is fine,” in a post on X.

The Giants selected both Carter and Dart in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft, and hope that the two can be franchise cornerstones on their respective sides of the ball.

Dart provided an energetic rookie season in New York, racking up 2,272 passing yards and 15 touchdowns through 14 games played in 2025.
