Tommy DeVito’s agent trying to make Italy’s flag football team with 2028 Olympics dream in mind

Sean Stellato is putting down his fedora and picking up a football.

One of the NFL’s most recognizable agents because of his fashion flair and the way he embraces all things Italian heritage, Stellato, 48, told The Post he is in Copenhagen, Denmark, this weekend to try out for the Italian Men’s National Flag Football Team. ESPN first reported Stellato’s whereabouts.

Stellato’s hope is to make Italy’s roster for the 2026 World Championship in August.

‘I’m incredibly grateful and excited for the opportunity to honor my Italian heritage by trying out for the Italian National Team, with the chance to represent Italy later this summer and beyond,” Stellato told The Post. “Thank you to my family, friends, and especially my clients for all of the support, encouragement, and inspiration along the way.’

The medal games in that 16-team men’s tournament will determine qualifying spots for the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.

Stellato’s profile was raised in 2023, when he was always side-by-side with his client Tommy DeVito.

At the time, Devito was one of the NFL’s biggest stories as an undrafted rookie quarterback who went 3-3 for the short-handed Giants while living at home with his parents, using the Italian pinched-fingers gesture to celebrate touchdowns and earning the nickname “Tommy Cutlets” because of his love for his mother’s chicken cutlets with vodka sauce.

Stellato still represents DeVito, who has risen to No. 2 on the Patriots’ depth chart behind NFL MVP runner-up Drake Maye.

He also counts Giants tight end Chris Manhertz and Cardinals receiver Ihmir Smith-Marsette, a former Giant, among his clients.

Before he was an agent, the Massachusetts native Stellato played receiver at Marist.

He played two seasons in AF2 – Arena Football’s developmental league.
