The 49ers have several players dealing with injuries ahead of Sunday’s divisional matchup against the Seahawks.
While San Francisco currently leads the NFC West, the 49ers were absolutely crushed in their last meeting with Seattle in the NFC Divisional Round. Both squads look different than last year, but there’s certainly plenty of bad blood between the division rivals.
Here’s the latest update on a number of key 49ers players before Sunday’s game.
Mike Evans
Evans played through injury in the 49ers’ Week 4 win over the Broncos. Despite having broken ribs, the veteran wide receiver posted 76 yards on five receptions.
At Thursday’s practice, Evans was seen running on the side field in uniform. While he didn’t practice with the team, he remained active which is an encouraging sign for San Francisco.
Evans was limited at practice Wednesday but his designated for Sunday’s game against the Seahawks is unclear, though the 49ers could certainly use his experience and finesse against one of the league’s best defenses.
Mykel Williams
Williams appears ready to make his season debut when the 49ers square off against Seattle at Lumen Field this weekend. The defensive lineman is recovering from a torn ACL and lateral meniscus in his right knee, which he sustained in November 2025.
Based on how he looked at Thursday’s practice, Williams should be ready to play in Week 5.
Nick Bosa
Bosa has been dealing with a calf injury and is expected to miss his third consecutive game against the Seahawks as he recovers. He was seen working off to the side at Thursday’s practice.
Christian McCaffrey, Trent Williams
McCaffrey and Williams both practiced Thursday after taking rest days on Wednesday. The two offensive stars appear ready for the highly-anticipated Week 5 matchup against the Seahawks.
