Now this is one way to get over the playoff blues.
Zach Wilson and fiancée Nicolette Dellanno jetted to Cabo San Lucas this month following Denver’s wild-card loss to the Bills in the NFL playoffs.
Joined by rookie quarterback Bo Nix and his wife, Izzy, fellow quarterback Jarrett Stidham and his wife, Kennedy, and offensive tackle Mike McGlinchey and his wife, Brooke, the future Mr. and Mrs. Wilson soaked up the sun in paradise following a season to remember in Denver.
In the carousel of Instagram photos shared Sunday by Dellanno, the ladies could be seen hanging poolside in bikinis in one snap and cruising aboard a yacht in another.
“Cabo with the coolest people,” Dellanno captioned the post, to which Wilson, 25, responded with a fire emoji.
The Broncos far exceeded expectations this year by finishing the regular season at 10-7 and making the playoffs for the first time since 2015.
Nix, the sixth quarterback taken in the first round of last year’s NFL draft at No. 12 overall, dazzled in the regular season, throwing for 3,775 yards, 29 touchdowns and 12 interceptions in 17 games.
He has since been nominated for Offensive Rookie of the Year, along with Washington’s first-year signal caller Jayden Daniels, who led the Commanders to an NFC Championship berth.
Wilson, the second overall pick in 2021, was traded to the Broncos in the offseason by the Jets following three rocky seasons in New York.
Wilson is an impending free agent.
During Wilson’s time in Denver this season, Dellanno — who got engaged to the quarterback in July — forged close friendships with Kennedy and Izzy.
Dellanno and Kennedy took in the Broncos’ 31-7 wild-card loss at an intimate watch party in Denver.
The Bills have since advanced to the AFC Championship to face the reigning two-time Super Bowl champion Chiefs on Sunday evening in Kansas City.
