The Swifties are talking and they want to know if Taylor Swift will be at the 2026 Grammy Awards.
Music’s biggest night is set to take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 1. Some of Hollywood’s biggest names are confirmed to appear but things with Swift appear to be up in the air.
Of course, the singer’s fan base has speculated that Swift has a surprise appearance up her sleeve. It’s been widely reported that Swift will take the stage along with Sabrina Carpenter and Olivia Dean, among other performers. However, this notion appeared to get shut down by one of the Grammy Awards producers.
That being said, seeing Swift on the red carpet — alongside fiancé Travis Kelce, perhaps — still hasn’t been ruled out. Details about her attendance have not been confirmed nor denied.
Comedian Trevor Noah will be back to host Sunday’s awards ceremony for the sixth year in a row. Executive producer Ben Winston confirmed in a statement earlier this month that this will be Noah’s last year as the show’s host.
“I am beyond thrilled to welcome Trevor Noah back to host the Grammys for his sixth, and sadly, final time,” Winston told The Hollywood Reporter. “He’s been the most phenomenal host of the show. He’s so smart, so funny and such a true fan of the artists and music. His impact on the show has been truly spectacular, and we can’t wait to do it together one last time.”
The music industry’s biggest and brightest names were nominated, with Kendrick Lamar racking up the most nominations across nine categories. Jack Antonoff and Lady Gaga came in at a close second with seven nominees each. Bad Bunny, Leon Thomas and Carpenter received six nods.

Will Taylor Swift Perform at the 2026 Grammys?
Executive producer Winston confirmed in an interview days before the show that no surprise Swift performance was planned — despite what the rumor mill is saying.
“The only reason people think Taylor might be performing or coming is because HITS decided to print it this week and put it in their HITS List, and it was picked up globally,” Winston said during an interview with HITS. “But HITS just totally made that up.”
He added, “Now I am getting asked about it by you, as if it’s a real thing, when it was made up in your office! That really is a full-circle rumor!”

Even though she’s not performing, Swift walking the red carpet and supporting her famous friends is still a possibility. Although, she hasn’t been announced as a presenter either.

Swift did not nab any Grammy nominations for the 2026 ceremony. Even though her Life of a Showgirl record was released in October 2025, the album did not meet the eligibility requirements for this year’s ceremony. Rather, it’s eligible for the 2027 Grammys.
