The 2026 FIFA World Cup isn’t just coming to Los Angeles.
In many ways, Los Angeles already is the World Cup.
No city in America better reflects the tournament itself. More than 150 countries are represented across Los Angeles County. More than 220 languages are spoken here. Entire neighborhoods have become cultural homes away from home, creating one of the most diverse urban landscapes anywhere on Earth.
For the next six weeks, soccer supporters from every corner of the globe will transform bars, restaurants, church halls, cultural centers, public plazas, breweries and neighborhood gathering spots into unofficial embassies for their national teams.
Some of these locations are famous World Cup destinations that have hosted supporters for decades. Others are hidden gems known only within immigrant communities. A few aren’t bars at all. They’re churches, community centers, public parks or family-owned restaurants where generations have gathered to celebrate victories and mourn defeats together.
This guide was compiled using community recommendations, Reddit discussions, Facebook groups, Instagram posts, supporter organizations, local cultural associations and our own experiences covering soccer throughout Southern California. While we’ve worked to make this list as comprehensive as possible, it is by no means complete.
