What’s Up With Travis Kelce and Justin Timberlake?

Travis Kelce was recently spotted dancing alongside Justin Timberlake, prompting the internet to have a few questions. Wait, these dudes know each other? Are they friends? Will this un-ruin the tour?

It’s a weird time to be a potential new bestie for Killatrav. Both Kelce and gf Taylor Swift recently consciously uncoupled from former bffs Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, after the couple’s back-and-forth lawsuits with Justin Baldoni got Swift wrapped up in legal drama. So there’s room in the squad. But also feelings are probably a little raw at the moment.

But things are not as they seem. The internet is freaking out about Timberlake and Kelce acting buddy-buddy on the golf course, but what if we told you this wasn’t even the first time they’ve golfed together? Turns out, Timberlake has known Kelce longer than Swift has. Justin Timberlake and Travis Kelce have been doing celebrity golf tournaments together since 2021, per Getty Images. Kelce and Swift have only known each other since 2023. Both dudes really love golf — with Timberlake collabing on a golf restaurant with Tiger Woods, and Kelce cameoing in the upcoming Happy Gilmore 2. So Kelce and Timberlake are tight on the golf course, but the friendship does not seem to extend to other sports. Or double dates with Taylor Swift and Jessica Biel.

Killatrav was in Las Vegas this week with his brother Jason, Timberlake, and comedian Andrew Santino as part of Timberlake’s 8AM Invitational at the Wynn Casino. On the Kelce bros’ New Heights podcast, Jason said he was “really struggling” at the tournament, and that people “audibly laughed” at how shitty his golf game was. Jason got laughed at in a good way later in the night, when he did “Total Eclipse of the Heart” at karaoke. Travis did not specify his song, but we hope it was *NSYNC. Maybe “Digital Getdown.”
