What I’ll remember most about Chris Kreider after Rangers breakup

He was hardly a perfect player, and he could be maddening at times. Hence, Did. You. See. Chris?

But from the moment he made his NHL debut as a 19-year-old in Game 3 of the first round of the 2012 playoffs within two weeks after winning the NCAA title for Boston College, Chris Kreider was a Blueblood who represented the franchise with dignity.

Over 13 years, Kreider was an exemplary Ranger, an exemplary teammate, a role model for younger players whom he made a point to embrace, charitable with his time and a pillar of his community.
