Trump throws shade at French President Emmanuel Macron for his ‘beautiful’ sunglasses

News RoomBy News RoomJanuary 21, 20261 ViewsNo Comments

President Trump teased French President Emmanuel Macron for wearing sunglasses during his speech to the World Economic Forum.

“I watched him yesterday with those beautiful sunglasses,” the president noted at Davos to audible laughter from his audience.

“What the hell happened?”

Macron blamed a mysterious eye condition for showing up with dark aviators — before laying into Trump and calling him a bully.

Tensions between the American president and European leaders have been high as Trump continues to demand ownership of Greenland.

Macron had invited Trump to dinner in Paris while he was in Europe to talk about it but Trump said he was declining the invitation.

However, Trump reassured the audience at Davos of Macron: “I like him.”
