As the losses have piled up like dried Christmas trees on Manhattan sidewalks after the holidays, the growing sentiment as Jets season has spiraled down the circular drain to a 14th consecutive season without a playoff berth is that Aaron Rodgers is a goner.
But is he really?
And, should he be?
The way a healthy Rodgers performed in Sunday’s 32-25 win over the Jaguars (three touchdown passes and 289 yards passing) and in the previous game at Miami (339 yards passing and a TD), it at least gives you pause to wonder if maybe he’s the team’s best option behind center in 2025.
