Everyone recognizes Dexter Lawrence’s greatness.
He’s one of the five or 10 best defensive players in the NFL. He’s doing things defensive tackles — especially at his size — have never really done before. He’s on a Ring of Honor and perhaps even Hall of Fame trajectory.
But it would be beneficial to the Giants for Lawrence to go outside his comfort zone and take on a role he’s previously been reluctant to assume:
