Here are The Post’s college football rankings following Week 3:
1. Ohio State (3-0) (Last week: 1)
For a little more than a half, Ohio State played with its food. Then, Jeremiah Smith decided that was enough, scoring twice in the second half as the Buckeyes pulled away from Ohio.
2. LSU (3-0) (2)
At some point, the Tigers are going to need more from the Garrett Nussmeier-led offense. It has yet to even flirt with 30 points in a single game.
3. Penn State (3-0) (3)
After three predictable blowouts of cupcakes, Penn State’s season begins for real. First up: A showdown with Oregon in Happy Valley on Sept. 27.
