Samantha Busch explained that her and husband Kyle Busch’s 4-year-old daughter, Lennix, talks to the star NASCAR star every morning since he died on May 21.

Busch died at 41 after pneumonia progressed “into sepsis, resulting in rapid and overwhelming associated complications,” his family said in a statement.

Samantha shared an image of Lennix eating breakfast in front of two framed photos of her dad and talking to him on her Instagram Story on Monday.

“Morning breakfast with Daddy,” Samantha wrote. “She wakes up every day, tells him how her sleep was, what she’s doing today and asks if he’s having fun in heaven.”

Samantha and Kyle share son Brexon, 11.

Samantha, who is a podcast host and author, was open on how she’s handling grief and motherhood after her husband’s death in a Wednesday Instagram post, which included photos of their kids.

“I lost the love of my life, my person, and my best friend. The man I built a life with and the person I thought I would grow old with,” Samantha wrote.

“But I’m still Mom. Grief doesn’t stop parenting. The morning still comes. There are questions to answer, tears to wipe away, races to get to, bedtime stories to read, and two kids trying to make sense of a loss that no child should ever have to face.

“People keep asking me how I stay so strong. The truth is, I don’t feel strong most days. I miss Kyle every second of every day. I want to curl up in a ball and cry.

“But I’m a mom. Brexton and Lennix still need hugs, comfort, laughter, routines, and someone to help carry their hurting hearts while mine is shattered.”

Samantha and Kyle were married on Dec. 21, 2010.

The two-time Cup Series champion died hours after being hospitalized with what his family called a serious illness at the time, his family, Richard Childress Racing and NASCAR, said in a joint statement.

Busch was testing in the Chevrolet racing simulator in Concord, N.C., when he became unresponsive and was transported to a hospital in Charlotte, according to The Associated Press.

He was on a bathroom floor and coughing up blood that day, according to a 911 call obtained by The California Post.

Busch tallied a record 234 wins across NASCAR’s three national series.
