Ryan Edwards’ wife, Amanda Conner, is setting the record straight on her relationship status.
“Just because I make a post doesn’t mean there’s anything going on with me and Ryan or me and anyone else,” Conner said via Instagram on Monday, January 26. “I also have a life, and I also have other family. Everything I post does not directly mean it’s about me and Ryan or whatever.”
Over the weekend, the Teen Mom: The Next Chapter star raised eyebrows when she posted a cryptic social media post that read, “I’m okay. Just more aware 😞.”
After a journalist reached out for comment, Conner decided to share her honest reaction.
“We both felt offended that you would even think if there was something going on that we would tell you about it so you could spread it to the world. That’s dumb,” she said. “Stop being messy and stop taking everything out of context that I post, he posts or anybody for future reference.”
Ultimately, Conner decided to set the record straight on her relationship status and confirmed her marriage with Edwards is just fine.
“Me and Ryan are good other than the every day little bickering because he don’t pick his clothes up from the floor or he won’t wash the sink out after he brushes his teeth,” she said while filming a video from her work. “Other than that, we’re good. If that clears it up what you were asking, that’s all we can give you.”
While Edwards has not publicly commented, his mom seemingly showed her support for Conner’s latest video by “liking” the post on Instagram.
In September 2025, Edwards and Conner confirmed they were married when they posted a certificate of marriage on their “Life With Ryan and Amanda” Facebook page.
In the post, a piece of paper indicated that a county clerk in Hamilton County, Tennessee, certified that the pair were indeed married.
Edwards and Conner first started dating in 2023 before getting engaged two years later. They documented part of their love story for MTV’s Teen Mom: The Next Chapter.
One undisputed ally during the couple’s relationship is Edwards’ ex Maci Bookout.
“We’re definitely friends. [Amanda’s] really easy to be around,” Bookout — who shares Bentley, 17, with Edwards — exclusively shared with Us in May 2024. “You know when you meet people and you can just feel the energy? She’s just got really good energy.”
Conner also confirmed that she previously went to the same school as Bookout. Their friendship, however, started long after the bell rang.
“Did I know her personally no, did I go to school with her yes,” she wrote via TikTok on January 12. “I was [a] bad girl. She was a good girl. Did her work stay quiet, I was the exact opposite so we never hang out but we would wave hello.”
Although the future of the Teen Mom franchise remains unclear at MTV — the last new episode aired in May 2025 — both Edwards and Conner continue to share glimpses of their family life on social media.
In fact, some fans are speculating that the couple may have something planned for later this year.
“OOOOOH,” Conner wrote via Instagram on January 11. “We have a secret surprise coming soon.”
