Taylor Momsen is once again pushing boundaries and turning it all the way up for a new music video, stripping down to her birthday suit and wearing only black body paint.
The musician, widely known as Gossip Girl’s rebellious Jenny Humphrey, embraced her dark side for the shoot with her band, The Pretty Reckless.
“Go behind the scenes with us on the making of the ‘For I Am Death’ music video. Out Friday,” she captioned a series of photos shared via Instagram on Wednesday, September 3.
In the first photo, Momsen, 32, showed off her chiseled six-pack abs while rocking a lacy lingerie set paired with a sheer skirt featuring an edgy, sparkling belt. She completed her look with platform boots, layered cross necklaces, a smokey-eyed glam and a wet, curled hairstyle.
Another shot showed the star exuding gothic dominance in a form-fitting black mini dress with corset-style button detailing, giving off a vampy, structured vibe by pairing the outfit with fishnet thigh-high stockings held in place by bold black garters that added a raw, punk edge.
Momsen shared not one, but two photos in the buff, showing her body covered in paint while posing in a pool of black liquid and for a selfie in a full-length mirror.
Her band dropped “For I Am Death” last week, racking up more than 670,000 views on YouTube and marking their first official single in four years following their 2021 album, Death by Rock and Roll.
Momsen notably walked away from her role as Jenny Humphrey on Gossip Girl ahead of the series’ fifth season back in 2011, revealing she wanted to focus on her music career.
“[Acting] was a childhood thing that I got put into when I was 2 years old,” she admitted to her onscreen brother, Penn Badgley, on a September 2023 episode of SiriusXM’s “Podcrushed.”
“I wasn’t making my own choices then,” Momsen added. “And literally, as soon as I got to an age where I could make my own decision — it was like a click. I woke up one morning and went, ‘Wait a second. I don’t have to do this. I can just play in my band, and tour, and write songs. I can just do that.’”
