Taylor Frankie Paul Addresses Fan Advice to ‘Get Off’ Her Phone Amid ‘Bachelorette’ Drama

News RoomBy News RoomMarch 22, 20260 ViewsNo Comments

Taylor Frankie Paul has a message for any fans that think she should take a social media break in light of her Bachelorette scandal.

“‘Taylor Frankie Paul Get Off Your Phone Challenge,’” a TikTok user said in a Saturday, March 21, video. “Why are you commenting back to people and reposting TikToks? Her world literally just blew up. I would say her team should take her phone away from her, but no, she is literally reposting TikToks that are in support of her and she’s commented back to her.”

Taylor, 31, replied to the TikTok user on Saturday, commenting, “Want me to stare at the wall instead?”

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star has also reposted several fan videos about the drama, including one reacting to Bachelorette suitor Doug Mason’s statement of support and another calling Dakota Mortensen “calculated and evil” for allegedly leaking a 2023 video of a fight on their son Ever’s 2nd birthday.

Taylor, who has dated 33-year-old Dakota, on and off since 2023, was named the season 22 Bachelorette in fall 2025. Just before she went to film the show, she hooked up with Dakota.

Nearly two months after The Bachelorette wrapped in December 2025, news broke in February that local Utah police were called to Taylor’s house after an alleged altercation with Dakota. Amid an open investigation, footage was released by TMZ of Taylor throwing a chair at Dakota in the presence of daughter Indy. (Taylor shares Indy, 8, and Ocean, 5, with ex-husband Tate Paul.)

After the video’s release, ABC canceled Taylor’s The Bachelorette season days before its Sunday, March 22, premiere.

“Taylor is very grateful for ABC’s support as she prioritizes her family’s safety and security,” a spokesperson for the MomTok creator told Us Weekly in a Thursday, March 19 statement. “After years of silently suffering extensive mental and physical abuse as well as threats of retaliation, Taylor is finally gaining the strength to face her accuser and taking steps to ensure that she and her children are protected from any further harm.”

The rep added, “There are too many women who are suffering in silence as they survive aggressive, jealous ex-partners who refuse to let them move on with their lives. Taylor has remained silent out of fear of further abuse, retaliation, and public shaming. She is currently exploring all of her options, seeking support and preparing to own and share her story.”

Dakota, meanwhile, denied any accusations about his behavior.

“As anyone who has seen the video will understand, this is a deeply upsetting situation,” Dakota told Us in a separate Thursday statement. “I am, unfortunately, used to these baseless claims about me and our relationship, which I categorically deny. I am focusing on our son and his safety, and hope that Taylor will do the same.”

Dakota subsequently filed for a temporary protective order against Taylor, which was granted the next day. Under the order, Taylor is barred from having any contact with Dakota, who now has sole custody of Ever until an April court hearing.

While Taylor has yet to further address the situation, she noted in the comments section that she “still [has] work” obligations to fulfill.

“[I’m] always on [my phone],” she wrote via Instagram comment earlier this week. “It’s my job.”
