Hours after debuting Amanda Batula as their campaign model, fashion and cannabis company Edie Parker appears to be publicly cutting ties amid her budding romance with West Wilson.
“A lot can change in a day,” read the Tuesday, March 31, post from their Instagram account in reference to their weed-inspired line. “Same shirt. Same great charity. New model.”
Eagle-eyed social media users also noticed that Edie Parker, a female-founded and female-operated lifestyle brand that offers design-forward accessories and premium cannabis flower, scrubbed their social media of posts showing Batula, 34, rocking their gear as part of a new weed campaign.
Us Weekly exclusively released the photos on Tuesday of Batula showing off her toned body while smoking a joint.
“I love Edie Parker. We knew we would work together one day and were just waiting for the perfect moment,” she told Us. “I am proud to be a part of normalizing this plant, and the shoot was a bit of a fun departure from what I normally do. It’s the perfect opportunity to spotlight two of my favorite things — boobs and bud.”
Shortly after her new photo shoot went live, Batula released a joint statement addressing the speculation surrounding her relationship status with Wilson, 31.
“We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity,” read an Instagram statement on Tuesday. “It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”
Batula and Wilson broke down how their relationship changed from platonic to romantic.
“We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected,” they continued. “Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”
The statement concluded: “As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling. We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless. We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”
The duo initially sparked rumors that they were hooking up one month after Batula announced her split from husband Kyle Cooke. (Wilson, for his part, dated Batula’s friend and their costar Ciara Miller on and off since 2023.)
“After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple,” they announced via Instagram in January. “We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing.”
Batula initially denied any potential involvement with a costar, telling Jason Tartick on a March episode of his “Trading Secrets” podcast, “It’s not going to happen. I’m not touching any of my cast members. Love them dearly, but I’m good.”
After news of their romance broke, a source exclusively told Us Weekly, that Miller, 30, is “heartbroken by this,” adding, “Her and Amanda were very close and she feels more betrayed than ever by both of them.”
The insider confirmed that Miller “cut off both Amanda and West after finding out.”
