St. John’s lands transfer Joson Sanon as Rick Pitino gets off to quick start remaking roster

Rick Pitino is off to a fast start as he looks to reload following St. John’s best season in 25 years. 

Four days after the second-seeded Johnnies’ season ended in the second round of the NCAA Tournament, they moved onto the offseason with a bang.

The Red Storm landed a high-ceiling wing they believe will help them immediately next year. 

Joson Sanon, a former top-25 prospect coming out of Vermont Academy, told The Post he has committed to play for St. John’s next season.
