Silicon Valley tech candidate was sued for downloading lots of porn

News RoomBy News RoomMarch 27, 20261 ViewsNo Comments

Ethan Agarwal, a Silicon Valley tech founder and congressional candidate challenging Rep. Ro Khanna, got sued in 2019 for illegally downloading a boatload of porn — including flicks fixated on threesomes.

Malibu Media’s lawsuit alleged that Agarwal used the BitTorrent file-sharing network to obtain and distribute explicit films including “Cum In For An Orgy,” “Threeway Strip Poker,” “Fashion Show F—ing,” “Sex And Fashion A Threeway Project” and “18 Year Old Models First Time Threesome.”

Argawal also got into hot water for films like “Surprise Sex For Three” and “Sex For Three By The Sea.”

Malibu Media, which operates the adult site X-Art, claimed Agarwal infringed on at least 11 copyrighted works by downloading and sharing them without authorization.

Investigators said the porn was traced to an internet connection tied to Agarwal in New York. The case did not go to trial and was settled in June 2020. The terms of the settlement were not disclosed.

In a call Friday, Argawal declined to comment on the porn and lawsuit settlement.

“I’m not commenting on that — it has nothing to do with the people who live in the 17th district,” he said, referencing the congressional district that includes parts of San Jose, Santa Clara, Milpitas and Cupertino.

Agarwal, who transitioned to a congressional campaign in March after a brief run for California governor last year, admitted his porn lawsuit in a lengthy social media post Friday.

Now I know why everyone hates politicians.

Let’s start with some context.

We announced our campaign March 3rd.

In the last three weeks, we’ve been gaining really great traction.

We’ve been hitting @RoKhanna hard on his ongoing stock trading activities, over $600m(!) in his… https://t.co/yH2ZU9zZ0p pic.twitter.com/UejUGJo5wo

He also defended his business record and criticized Khanna — who is supporting the controversial billionaires’ tax — for making more than $600 million in stock trades over the last nine years.

“[Khanna] is the most prolific democratic stock trader in the history of Congress — more than Nancy Pelosi,” Argawal told The Post. “Last year alone was $55.7 million.”

He added, “The stuff he’s trading in is big tobacco, big pharma, weapons and gas — it’s the worst things a Democrat could be investing in.”

In a 1,000-plus word tweet, Agarwal also accused Khanna’s camp of trying to pressure him out of the race in exchange for an endorsement when the congressman runs for president in 2028.

“Ro had three people reach out to me, offering that if I dropped out of this race he would endorse me in 2028 when he runs for President,” Argawal wrote.

“When I said no the first two times, the third guy said if I don’t take this offer, I’ll be making an enemy of the President of the United States.”

Sarah Drory, a spokesperson for Khanna’s campaign, denied that anyone tried to cut a deal to get Argawal to drop out of the race.

“This is absolutely false,” Drory wrote in a text message. “No one on our staff has ever spoken to Ethan about the race and neither has Ro.”

Argawal told The Post that Khanna instead sent intermediaries unaffiliated with his staff.

“They’re not full-time employees of his, they’re people who I know,” Argawal said. “When he says people on staff, that’s very intentional.”

Argawal accused the congressman of using his position to advance his power and wealth.

“This guy loves decrying wealth and people who make a lot of money and not paying their fair share and people who are greedy and should be taxed more,” Argawal said. “And then he goes home and makes eight figures a year — have some shred of dignity.”

The race for District 17 is heating up and voters should get their popcorn ready — but maybe skip the movies.
