The lawyer for the woman suing Shannon Sharpe released a second audio clip in which you can hear what he says is the ex-NFL star threatening to “choke” the woman in public.
The clip, obtained by TMZ and released by attorney Tony Buzbee, is purportedly a phone conversation between Sharpe and the Jane Doe who filed a $50 million lawsuit against the Pro Football Hall of Famer on Sunday in Nevada.
The clip begins with the woman asking if a man identified by Doe’s legal team as Sharpe is “coming to LA tomorrow,” which he confirmed to her in response.
That prompted the woman to then ask, “Well, I don’t know why you wanna go out.”
“Don’t worry about it, [name redacted],” the man said.
Moments later, the conversation changes course, and Doe tells the man that she didn’t want to be choked.
“Well, I’m not really interested in getting choked. So, I guess we’re going,” she said in the recording.
“Ha! I might choke you in public. ‘Big, black guy chokes small, white woman,’” the man replied.
The woman replied, “That’s not a good look, Shannon,” to which the male voice responds angrily to her.
“It’s not a good look that you did the s–t you did to me,” the man said.
The clip ends shortly after that.
It’s unclear when the alleged phone conversation happened.
It is the second such clip that has been released claiming to show Sharpe — who has offered multiple denials over the allegations made toward him — threatening to “choke” the woman.
In an audio clip obtained by Page Six on Tuesday, Sharpe allegedly told the woman, “Lord, have mercy. If you say that word one more time, I will f–king choke the s–t out of you when I see you. … Thank you.”
That came in response to her telling the male, identified to Page Six as Sharpe, “Don’t manipulate me.”
Sharpe’s representatives have insisted he did nothing wrong and that part of his relationship with the woman – who Sharpe’s legal team has identified but is not being named by The Post — involved roleplaying.
His legal team has also released hundreds of pages of alleged text messages between the two in order to establish that part of the pair’s relationship.
The texts released to the media Tuesday have not been independently verified, but claim it highlights the “pattern of sexual role-playing that specifically includes her being choked by him.”
In one message alleged to be from the woman suing Sharpe, the 56-year-old’s representatives pointed to the Oct. 9, 2023, interaction as one example of the nature of their relationship.
“i want you to put a dog collar around my neck and choke me with it while ur f–king me,” the message read.
Buzbee did not immediately respond to The Post when asked for comment.
The woman is suing Sharpe for $50 million, claiming Sharpe had sexually assaulted, committed battery, sexual battery and had intentionally inflicted emotional distress during the nearly two-year relationship.
The two met at a Los Angeles gym when the woman was 20 and Sharpe was in his 50s and began a “rocky consensual relationship.”
Sharpe’s representatives have described it as a “consensual sexual relationship.”
