Robert Griffin III and wife Grete are still digesting Bill Belichick’s disastrous CBS interview that was railroaded by his 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson.
When discussing Belichick’s awkward Q&A on Tuesday’s episode of the “Outta Pocket with RGIII” podcast, the wife of the former NFL quarterback said the legendary coach’s now-viral interview on “CBS Sunday Morning” went “absolutely horrible,” calling attention to Hudson’s interjections.
“Jordon would not allow him to answer certain questions, they would not allow him to ask certain questions and she was just speaking for Bill, telling him pretty much what he can and can’t say,” Grete said.
During his conversation with Tony Dokoupil that aired April 27, Belichick was asked how he and Hudson, a former college cheerleader, had met.
Hudson, whose relationship with Belichick became public in 2024 after meeting on an airplane three years prior, replied, “We’re not talking about this.”
The moment then cast an even brighter light on the couple’s romance and how Hudson has become intertwined in Belichick’s professional endeavors.
Page Six reported last week how Hudson “demanded” to be an executive producer on a since-scrapped “Hard Knocks” docuseries that would have chronicled Belichick’s first year of coaching at UNC.
The outlet also reported how Hudson allegedly “forced” her way into Dunkin Donuts’ star-studded Super Bowl ad that aired in February.
Griffin, 35, said Tuesday how “all of these things that are coming out now are painting her, this relationship and Bill Belichick in a massively negative light.”
“Bill Belichick is the Greatest Head Coach in NFL History, but his girlfriend Jordon Hudson is becoming a problem,” the newly minted Fox Sports college football analyst wrote in an X post Tuesday evening.
“Bill can date whoever he wants, but his relationship has become the one thing he always hated as a coach, a DISTRACTION for his UNC Football team.”
An eight-time Super Bowl winner, Belichick moved to the collegiate ranks in December when he was tapped to become the Tar Heels’ new football coach.
He and the Patriots parted ways in January 2024 after 24 seasons together.
Hudson, an aspiring Miss Maine USA, has been part of the coach’s next chapter in Chapel Hill.
“Bill is older now and starting a new job, but still a superstar and in demand. He knows what he is doing and Jordon makes him happy,” a source previously told People.
All eyes — including those possibly of the Griffins, who have been married since 2018 — will be on Belichick come Sept. 1, when he coaches his first regular-season game for UNC against TCU.
