Kirk Cousins was certainly feeling himself during his four-touchdown performance on Sunday afternoon.
After Cousins threw his second touchdown of the game late in the third quarter, he was seen showing off his dancing skills near the 10-yard line.
It’s unknown what type of dance the Raiders quarterback was performing, but he was seen slouched over, with his left arm flexed and his hand near his helmet, while his other arm was pointed at a 45-degree angle and started moving it back and forth.
ESPN posted a video of his dance and wrote in the caption, “What do you call this celly, Kirk Cousins?” while having a graphic displayed in the video reading, “40-year-old, chicken wing, old man dance.”
While ESPN has been trying to figure out what exactly Cousins was doing, so was the rest of the internet.
Barstool Sports posted the video on X and wrote, “Kirk Cousins just hist the most UNC celebration possible,” and @Chadfisher wrote, “Kirk Cousins with the most white guy dance of all time.”
Barstool’s post quickly went viral on X, garnering over 124,000 views, 23 comments, 121 reposts, 2,400 likes, and 52 shares.
NFL fans have been poking fun at Cousins’ dance moves, as @Bcoe21Coe wrote, “That’s a dad who just got the grill lit on the first try😂”
@Joe_Moto_Coffee wrote, “Kirk Cousins bringing a brand-new celebration to a Sunday game is the fun part of football. Guys who still play with that much joy are usually the ones teammates rally behind.”
While Cousins is working on creating the next trendy dance, he’s never been shy from showing off his dance moves, as when he was a member of the Minnesota Vikings, he hit “the griddy” with Justin Jefferson.
As a member of the Falcons last year, Cousins was “swag surfing” following an overtime victory against the Buccaneers.
Aside from inventing a new dance, Cousins snapped the Raiders’ four-game losing streak with a 38-33 victory, in which he completed 19 of 26 passes for 247 yards and was sacked once.
