Police Called to Britney Spears’ Home Multiple Times in Last 2 Years Before Her DUI Arrest: Report

News RoomBy News RoomMarch 5, 20261 ViewsNo Comments

Police had reportedly been called to Britney Spears’ home in Los Angeles more than a dozen times before her DUI arrest.

According to The California Post, records show 14 calls to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department have been made since January 1, 2024.

While it’s unclear how many were directly related to Spears, 44, one call for a well-being check occurred in September 2025, according to the publication. It was ultimately listed as cancelled.

Two well-being checks were reportedly logged in November 2024 on the same day, though the latter one was cancelled.

The most recent call is logged as a trespassing in progress around midnight on October 23, 2025. The circumstances of that call remain unclear.

Us Weekly has reached out to authorities.

The findings come after Spears was arrested on Wednesday, March 4, for driving under the influence near her home in Ventura County, California.

According to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, the singer — who shares sons Preston, 20, and Jayden, 19, with ex Kevin Federline — was booked into jail at 3:03 am and cited and released at 6:07 am. Her next court date is scheduled for Monday, May 4.

“This was an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable,” Spears’ rep said in a statement to Us on Thursday, March 5. “Britney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law, and hopefully this can be the first step in long overdue change that needs to occur in Britney’s life. Hopefully, she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time. Her boys are going to be spending time with her. Her loved ones are going to come up with an overdue, needed plan to set her up for success for well-being.”

Spears’ loved ones are hopeful the pop star can get some help following her arrest.

“I hope this is a wake-up call for her,” a family source exclusively told Us on Thursday.

News of Spears’ DUI comes nearly five years after her conservatorship ended in November 2021.

Instead of working on new music or touring again, the former All-New Mickey Mouse Club star has tried to keep a low profile in her Southern California neighborhood as she worked to build a stronger relationship with her sons.

In October 2025, Spears found herself in the headlines when Federline, 47, released a memoir detailing his relationship with the singer.

“With news from Kevin’s book breaking, once again he and others are profiting off her, and sadly it comes after child support has ended with Kevin,” Spears’ rep told Us at the time. “All she cares about are her kids, Sean Preston and Jayden James, and their well-being during this sensationalism. She detailed her journey in her memoir.”

Federline has yet to publicly comment on Spears’ arrest.
