Olympian Oksana Baiul Accused Ex-Husband of Manipulation and Harassment Weeks Before Divorce Deal (Exclusive)

News RoomBy News RoomJanuary 7, 20262 ViewsNo Comments

Olympian Oksana Baiul accused her ex-husband, Carlo Farina, of harassment and attempting to manipulate her weeks before they reached a divorce settlement awarding him primary custody of their 11-year-old daughter, Sophia, Us Weekly can exclusively report.

As Us first reported, Baiul, 48, and Farina settled their divorce on October 6. Prior to the agreement, the exes went back and forth, hurling accusations against each other.

On August 29, months after Farina filed for divorce, Baiul claimed he had violated the court order requiring the parties not to harass each other. She claimed he had sent her a “lengthy text message” on August 22, 2025, in which he “harassed, demeaned, belittled, attacked and attempted to manipulate” her. She demanded he be forced to appear in court and explain himself.

She also accused Farina of failing to turn over a 2020 Mercedes that he was ordered to and did not turn over a list of all the items he removed from their marital home.

In court documents filed in July 2025, Baiul claimed Farina had taken many items from their former home and moved into a $1.2 million condo in Las Vegas, Nevada, that he purchased.

“Farina’s removal of community property from the family and matrimonial residence has been willful and deliberate, and constitutes contempt which has caused hardship and further damage to Baiul,” her lawyer wrote in court docs.

As Us first reported, Baiul and Farina settled the case weeks later in October 2025. The agreement stated Farina would have primary custody of their daughter and be permitted to move from Louisiana to Las Vegas. The agreement said Baiul would be allowed visits with her daughter if the daughter agreed.

The agreement said Baiul would enroll in anger management classes and would submit to alcohol and drug testing. Baiul will be paid $550,000 from the net proceeds of a home and the exes will split any additional profits, per the deal. They agreed to split $108,000 in an investment account and Farina would forgive $194,000 that he loaned his ex.

Farina agreed to pay the Olympian $100,000 in a lump sum and another $150,000 that will be paid out over five years.

Neither party will pay child or spousal support. Baiul was awarded her “extensive high-value collection of designer handbags, couture, ready to wear, eyewear, and footwear” and any residuals from her books.

As Us previously reported, Farina filed for divorce on June 26. In the filing, he listed the date of marriage as July 7, 2023, and the date of separation as November 2022. He asked for sole custody of their daughter.

He proposed Baiul be awarded supervised visitation due to her alleged “history of extreme physical, emotional, mental and verbal abuse” towards him. He claimed the alleged abuse was caught on different cameras inside their home.

Farina alleged his ex abused alcohol “to the point of intoxication” and labeled her a “compulsive liar” in court docs. He also accused the ice skater of making racist remarks in front of their child and telling the kid to call their housekeeper racist names.

In August 2025, Baiul denied all allegations of wrongdoing when she responded to Farina’s divorce. She listed the date of separation as June 12, 2025, not 2022 as her ex listed.

In her filing, she asked the court to award her joint legal and physical custody.

Baiul also accused Farina of being “psychologically abusive” towards her and their child. She said the footage from the cameras inside the home showed Farina “demeaning and silencing her”, not her abusing him.

As Us previously reported, Baiul broke her silence on the divorce settlement on January 5.

Baiul became a household name after competing in the 1994 Olympics as a competitive figure skater, where she won a gold medal competing for Ukraine.
