Odell Beckham Jr. isn’t done playing football.
A day after the former Giants receiver shut down a false report of his retirement on Tuesday, NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero reported on X that Beckham “has drawn interest from several teams and plans to play somewhere in 2025.”
Beckham reportedly “continues to train in anticipation of being on the field soon,” per Pelissero.
On Tuesday morning, an X account parodying ESPN’s Adam Schefter spread a fake rumor that the three-time Pro Bowler was retiring from the NFL.
“After 10 seasons in the NFL, Odell Beckham Jr. has decided to retire,” the account, which goes by @AdamSche1fer, wrote. “Beckham Jr. played for the Giants, Browns, Rams, Ravens, and Dolphins. He announced on Tuesday.”
Beckham shut down the rumor in a reply to the post, saying “LOL WTF… when was that announced and by who? That’s funny, appreciate the concerns but this Shxt ain’t over yet” in the first of a series of musings on the platform.
The 32-year-old remains a free agent with Week 1 less than a month away after playing nine games with the Dolphins last season.
Beckham didn’t make much of an impact in Miami, catching just nine passes for 55 yards with a touchdown.
He began his career in 2014 with the Giants, who drafted him 12th overall, and won the Offensive Rookie of the Year award in his first season in New York.
Beckham was later traded to the Browns in March 2019 and spent time with the Ravens, Rams and Dolphins after his time in Cleveland.
Beckham has 575 receptions for 7,987 receiving yards and 59 touchdowns across 10 NFL seasons.
The pass-catcher won a Super Bowl with the Rams in 2022.
