For the last few weeks, the top 10 movies on Netflix have been dominated by K-Pop Demon Hunters and the Shrek films.
Even this week, those flicks are taking up five slots out of ten. But there’s a new No. 1 movie on Netflix, and it’s The Wrong Paris.
That recently arrived rom-com is also the top pick in Watch With Us‘ roundup of the three popular Netflix movies that you need to watch now.
The other two selections are also comedies, so if you’re looking for laughs, you’ve come to the right place.
‘The Wrong Paris’ (2025)
Miranda Cosgrove stars in The Wrong Paris as a waitress named Dawn, who has a dream of escaping her small town in Texas and going to an art school in Paris. That’s why she signs up for a reality TV show called The Honeypot, which she was told would be filmed in France. However, the producers tricked Dawn, and the show is actually filmed in Paris, Texas.
Despite Dawn’s desire to leave the show early, the bachelor at the heart of the competition, Trey McAllen (Pierson Fodé), has a very real attraction to her. It’s not a one-sided affair either. But as Dawn weighs the desires of her heart, a rival, Lexie Miller (Madison Pettis), does everything she can to ensure that Trey picks her over Dawn.

‘Moving On’ (2023)
Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin play former friends Claire and Evelyn, and despite the title of the movie, neither of them is emotionally Moving On. Their mutual friend, Joyce, is dead, and Claire’s decades-long desire for revenge against Joyce’s husband, Howard (Malcolm McDowell), has finally reached its boiling point.
Claire enlists Evelyn in her plot to murder Howard, but the plan doesn’t come together very easily. Their murderous ambitions are further complicated when Claire reunites with her ex-husband, Ralph (Richard Roundtree), a man she never entirely stopped loving despite the end of their union.

‘Daddy’s Home’ (2015)
There are two fathers at the heart of Daddy’s Home, but only one can be the head of the family. Brad Whitaker (Will Ferrell) was naive enough to believe it was him, since he married Sara (Linda Cardellini) and worked hard to be a good stepfather to her kids, Megan (Scarlett Estevez) and Dylan (Owen Vaccaro).
All of that goodwill flies out the window when Megan and Dylan’s biological dad, Dusty Mayron (Mark Wahlberg), blows back into their lives. Dusty even manipulates Brad into letting him move in, even though he fully intends to win back his family and leave the latter out in the cold. Brad tries everything he can to compete against Dusty, but he always seems to come up short. It’s a battle of wills between the two fathers, and Dusty may have an insurmountable advantage.
