MGK was put on this Earth to be a girl dad — and his birthday tribute to daughter Saga proves it.
“1 🧁❤️🔥,” the 35-year-old singer captioned a glimpse at his daughter’s first year of life in an Instagram post on Wednesday, April 1. The baby’s face was hidden in all the images.
The musician shares Saga with Megan Fox and is also the father of 16-year-old daughter Casie with ex Emma Cannon.
The 11-slide Instagram post showed MGK smiling widely as he held his baby girl in several images. Saga also posed with her older sister in a few of the snaps.
Another photo gave fans a look at MGK and Saga’s October 2025 Halloween costumes. The “Cliché” singer was dressed as Jack Skellington from A Nightmare Before Christmas while holding Saga, who wore an Oogie Boogie outfit.
One image taken during the 2025 holiday season showed MGK, Casie and Saga with his mom, with whom he reconciled in 2021 after a yearslong estrangement.
Fox, 39, was noticeably missing from MGK’s carousel as fans continue to question the status of their relationship. The duo started dating in 2020 after meeting on the set of their movie Midnight in the Switchgrass. By 2022, MGK proposed to Fox. They were engaged for two years before calling it quits.
They sparked reconciliation rumors earlier this year after MGK left a few flirty comments on several of Fox’s sultry Instagram photos.
Last month, the actress made a surprise return to Instagram. “Everything is more beautiful because we are doomed,” she captioned the post. MGK was quick to comment.
“Stoked I have your phone number,” he wrote at the time.
One week later, she shared even more photos, which elicited another response from MGK.
“Stoked we had a baby,” he wrote.
However, eagle-eyed fans noticed on Wednesday, April 1, that all of MGK’s comments had mysteriously disappeared. Some people have wondered whether Fox blocked MGK on the social media platform. It also appeared that MGK no longer appeared in Fox’s list of followers. (Us Weekly reached out to Fox for comment.)
Despite their ups and downs, sources previously told Us that welcoming their daughter Saga in March 2025 helped strengthen MGK and Fox’s relationship.
“Their baby girl is their top priority, and she’s brought them closer than ever,” the insider shared in November 2025. “They’re in a much stronger place than they were even six months ago, and Megan says their baby has given her a sense of peace and healing.”
