The race for president of the United States has an exciting, and adorable, new face.
Meet Atlas Vance.
The nearly 10-month-old German Shepherd puppy belonging to Republican vice-presidential nominee Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance is “an extremely good dog,” sources close to the Vance family confirmed to The Post.
That’s in sharp contrast to former White House resident and fellow German Shepherd Commander Biden — the president watched his dog attack Secret Service officers repeatedly.
Atlas loves lamb and blueberry dog food, they say, but his “favorite human food is anything,” including “any meat scraps” he can get his paws on. He also adores any plastic or stuffed toy he’s lucky enough to find lying around the family’s house — whether it belongs to him or not.
Atlas joined his family Friday aboard Trump Force Two for a fresh batch of campaign stops at swing states across the country — and even answered press inquiries.
“They took him off leash most of the day last week when he came on the plane with us, and he was great,” Vance sources told The Post.
“Atlas had a great time on the campaign trail, and unlike Kamala [Harris], he enjoyed meeting the press,” Team Vance spokeswoman Taylor Van Kirk told Fox News.
They said Atlas is in excellent health. He takes a walk every morning and “whenever” else he wants throughout his family’s busy days.
The one thing they say he does miss is his best friend, Pippin — the Vance family’s first “puppy,” who unfortunately passed away this year.
The family purchased Atlas from a local breeder, and he is said to be very excited for his first birthday Nov. 5 — Election Day, of course.
