It’s been a steady process this spring and summer, the 2025 Jets building a new culture under new head coach Aaron Glenn.
Glenn, pretty much since he was hired as the 22nd head coach in franchise history in January, has been the focal point in this mission to help put a large tarp over the past 15 years of poor play, poor coaching and poor decisions that have led to too much poor football and allow Jets fans to think about a brighter future and, more importantly, a positive present.
Tuesday marks the first practice under Glenn with a real game and a real opponent ahead of the Jets in Sunday’s season opener at MetLife Stadium against the Steelers and Aaron Rodgers.
That first regular-season practice will be led by six players who were voted as captains by their teammates in a Wednesday night team meeting.
