Fire-breathing football is officially back on Long Island.
Fans resurrected the iconic New York Dragons team moniker for Nassau County’s new indoor squad that is part of Buffalo Bills legend Andre Reed’s Entertainment Football League Association.
Like the Dragons of old, part of the defunct Arena Football League of the 2000s, the new black-and-red squad will be returning to the Nassau Coliseum for home games this June. In an eight-game season, they will face the Ciphers in Morristown, N.J., the Diesel in Danbury, Conn., and the Heroes in Fitchburg, Mass.
