High school drama never ends for Kristin Cavallari and Talan Torriero.
During the Wednesday, June 4, premiere episode of Honestly Cavallari, several cast members from Laguna Beach agreed to reunite for a special live show hosted by Kristin, 38.
As Jessica Evans, Jason Wahlher, Alex Murrel and more MTV stars took the stage, Talan, 38 had a warning for his former high school sweetheart.
“I’m lit up,” he shared while holding a red solo cup. “I’m sorry.”
During the show, Kristin asked her former classmates why they think the show remains so popular more than 20 years after it first premiered. At another point in the show, The Hills alum wanted to revisit her prom night with Talan.
“Of course I’d ask Kristin to prom and I was the nice guy in high school,” Talan shared.
When Kristin joked that her ex-boyfriend is now a “bad boy” with a longer haircut resembling a mullet, things got a little awkward.
“I’m slowly turning into a Montana boy,” Talan joked, referring to Kristin’s ex and Montana Boyz TikTok member Mark Estes. “By the way, I’m out of beer.”
At another point in the episode, Kristin reflected on the show and voiced her disappointment at some of Talan’s jokes.
“These guys just love to put me down in front of everybody,” she told her BFF Justin Anderson. “Every guy in my life has done that to me. It’s so f***ed up. Talan, f*** you.”
Talan was in hot water before the live show even took place. According to Kristin, Talan started a group chat with both Harry Jowsey and Estes, 25. The friendly gesture seemingly caused Estes to not participate in the live tour.
“My ex-boyfriend Mark Estes originally agreed to be on the second episode,” Kristin said in a confessional. “Both Mark and Harry had been on my podcasts before but Talan decided to group text message on Instagram both Harry and Mark and I hadn’t told Mark or Harry yet that they were going to be on the same episode.”
Let’s just say some of the guys may have wanted the show to themselves.
“Mark was already feeling insecure about the show and finding out that Harry was coming on, I think he just felt sort of slighted,” Kristin speculated. “Maybe I was keeping information from him.”
Ultimately, the show must go on and Kristin was able to pull off a headline-making live event with her Laguna Beach costars.
Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour airs on E! Wednesdays at 10 p.m. Fans can stream episodes the next day on Peacock.
