The Knicks wasted no time celebrating after their series-clinching win Friday night.
Shortly after their win over the Celtics, members of the Knicks turned out alongside multiple celebrities at Chez Margaux, a private club in the Meatpacking District, Page Six reported.
Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, OG Anunoby, Josh Hart and Mikal Bridges, were among some of the Knicks players who went to the club with Timothée Chalamet, Russell Wilson, and Jordyn Woods.
Woods, 27, has been in a relationship with Towns, 29, since 2020 and has been spotted sitting courtside during numerous Knicks games this season.
Moments after the Knicks’ 119-81 win on Friday, Chalamet was seen high-fiving a crowd of fans from the back seat of a car, where his security had to pull him back into the vehicle.
“The team really is best friend vibes! They just wanted to celebrate together and they really love each other,” a source told Page Six on Saturday.
Despite all of the celebration, members of the Knicks reportedly did not drink Friday night, as players turned down offers of complimentary bottles of Champagne.
“They are locked in and were just there to celebrate the win and weren’t drinking,” a source told Page Six.”They shared the bottles with their fans instead. They’re very appreciative and thankful for their fans, for this city.”
With Friday’s win, the Knicks have advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals, where they are set to face the Pacers.
Both teams have history with each other, with the two meeting in the postseason six times in eight seasons from 1993 to 2000.
In their most recent playoff matchup last season, Indiana bested the Knicks in seven games during a close second-round series.
“It’s going to be a tough opponent,” Josh Hart said of the Pacers. “They push the pace. They run on makes, misses. And it’s going to be a huge communication series for us. We are going to have to be locked in on every possession. Have to get back defensively.
“So we can build off this game. I feel our communication was great today and that’s something we can carry into that series. We just have to make sure we are prepared.”
