Just before the Raiders were set to take on the Buffalo Bills in a Week 6 matchup at Allegiant Stadium, head coach Klint Kubiak shared a wholesome moment with his father.
An hour before kickoff, Kubiak was seen exiting the field and found his father, Gary, where the two embraced in a hug.
After he found his Dad, Klint was also greeted by his mother, Rhonda Kubiak, where she also gave him a hug.
For Klint, the moment of greeting his father on the sideline is a full-circle moment, as Gary is a former four-time Super Bowl-winning coach with the San Francisco 49ers and Denver Broncos.
In 2015, Gary Kubiak was in his first year as a head coach in the NFL with the Broncos and led them to their first Super Bowl title since 1998.
After the Broncos finished the 2016 season with a 9-7 record, during which Gary Kubiak periodically missed time, resulting in him stepping down after the season ended due to health concerns.
Last year, Klint Kubiak was the offensive coordinator for the Seattle Seahawks and helped lead them to their second Super Bowl title in franchise history.
Immediately after, he was hired to become the new head coach of the Raiders and has since started to make an immediate mark on the team as they started the season 3-0.
Coming into Sunday, the Raiders are looking to get back in the win column against Buffalo as they’ve suffered back-to-back losses to the Kansas City Chiefs and the New England Patriots.
