Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Olivia Ponton, 22, have been romantically involved since the early fall, according to a new report.
The football star and the model have been “hooking up” since that time and “are keeping it casual,” People reported on Monday.
The pair’s romantic link became public after it was revealed that Ponton had been the one to call 911 after Burrow’s home outside of Cincinnati was burglarized on Dec. 9 when he was with the Bengals facing the Cowboys on “Monday Night Football” in Texas.
It’s unclear how the pair met or when exactly they became involved.
“They have been hooking up since the early fall and are keeping it casual,” a source told the outlet.
Ponton called the police and told a 911 operator “Someone broke into my house… It’s like completely messed up.”
Ponton, who boasts over seven million followers on TikTok alone, was described in the police report as an employee of Burrow’s.
The NFL star didn’t appear too happy about the details that had been made public following the burglary and said during a press conference that he felt “violated in more ways than one.”
“So obviously everybody has heard what has happened,” Burrow told reporters following a practice after the break-in. “I feel like my privacy has been violated in more ways than one. And way more is already out there than I would want out there and that I care to share, so that’s all I got to say about that.”
Ponton hasn’t addressed the incident or her involvement with Burrow.
She has been a part of several recently released interviews with Cosmopolitan and “Call Her Daddy” but did not make any comments about what happened.
Page Six did reach out to reps for Burrow and Ponton for a comment, but had not heard back.
