JD Vance explodes at NY Dem Rep. Jerry Nadler ‘openly calling’ for shooting ICE agents

News RoomBy News RoomFebruary 3, 20261 ViewsNo Comments

Vice President JD Vance unloaded on New York Democratic Rep. Jerry Nadler “openly calling” for the shooting of ICE agents and other federal law enforcement officers.

“Jerry Nadler is one of the highest ranking Democrats in the House of Representatives and he is openly calling for people to shoot federal law enforcement,” Vance posted on X Tuesday.

“This is despicable behavior from an elected official and I’m sure the leftwing media will cover it extensively.”

Reps for Nadler didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

The Manhattan Democrat in a House Judiciary Committee hearing had said “what is really the major problem in this country today, is the fascism in our streets, the attacks on American citizens by masked hoodlums.”

“If you were attacked by a masked person, you might think you were being kidnapped. You’d be justified in shooting the person to protect yourself,” he said.

“But we see people being shot, for what? For driving a car?” Nadler asked.

The comments come after the fatal shootings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, both 37, in Minneapolis last month amid heated clashes with DHS agents and officers.

Good accelerated her car in the direction of an ICE officer after refusing to move and impeding enforcement operations.

The officer shot and killed her.

Pretti, who was armed with a loaded Sig Sauer pistol, got into a struggle with Border Patrol agents after refusing to move out of the roadway and two of the agents opened fire on him.

Both fatal shootings are under investigation by federal law enforcement agencies.

House Democrats sent a letter to Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and ICE acting director Todd Lyons on Tuesday, requesting that the DHS chief rescind a memo allowing immigration officers broader authority to execute administrative warrants — including in homes.
