Jason Kelce joined the fun after a story about his mother, Donna Kelce, took social media by storm.
On Saturday, March 7, a TMZ headline reading “Travis & Jason Kelce’s Mom Donna Remodeling Her Modest Florida Home” caught fire online, which led to a response from Jason.
“BREAKING!! Sources confirm Donna Kelce’s eldest son watched 2 hours of Bluey yesterday,” Jason, 38, posted via X on Sunday, March 8.
Jason and his wife, Kylie Kelce, share four daughters: Wyatt, 6, Elliotte, 5, Bennett, 5, and Finn, 11 months.
The story about Donna, 73, became catnip for social media fodder over the weekend.
“Does anyone have an update on Donna Kelce’s house situation, I’ve been worried about her doors and windows all weekend, we can’t just move on from this,” one person joked via X.
In response to news that Travis, 36, is considering moving on from the Kansas City Chiefs, one fan commented, “Does this have anything to do with donna kelce remodeling her florida home?”
“You miss one single day on this app and Donna Kelce’s home renovation becomes the biggest meme of the year,” another person summarized.
The “New Heights” podcast, cohosted by Jason and Travis, even posted a fake TMZ headline using Jason’s post about Bluey via Instagram on Sunday, which has been liked more than 45,000 times.
As for the renovations themselves, TMZ reported that Donna is currently in the process of giving a makeover to her two-bedroom, two-bathroom, 1,434-square-foot home in Orlando.
Donna has reportedly hired a company to replace nine windows and six doors on the home, which includes a den, library, office and an exercise room.
She purchased the property for $355,000 in March 2019.
According to official records obtained by TMZ, Donna plans on leaving the home to Jason and Travis.
Donna got divorced from her ex-husband, Ed Kelce, the father of Jason and Travis, after 28 years of marriage while their sons were both student-athletes at the University of Cincinnati. Travis played for the Bearcats from 2008 to 2012, while Jason played from 2007 to 2010.
Travis got candid about his parents’ split during a GQ cover story interview in August 2025.
“They were always the ultimate partners in terms of being there for us as kids,” Travis said. “There was no division in terms of anger at each other. I think the romance of it all might’ve just kind of faded, being so focused on their careers and raising a family. It’s probably hard for parents to keep that romance, especially when you’ve got kids that are into f***ing everything, you know?”
